Who should receive a COVID-19 Vaccination?
Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI) recommends: link
Vaccination against COVID-19 for all people aged 12 years and older.
That the same COVID-19 vaccine brand should be used for the two doses of the primary course of vaccination.
A single booster dose for people who completed their primary COVID-19 vaccine course ≥ 6 months ago. Comirnaty (Pfizer Australia Pty Ltd) is the preferred brand for booster doses, regardless of the brand used in the primary course.
ATAGI have also provided guidance that COVID-19 vaccines can be co-administered (i.e. on the same day) with an influenza vaccine.
